Dreamy Starlet is a 1991 Standardbred mare, out of Dreamy Almahurst by On The Road Again. Dreamy is a seal brown with a star, near front pastern, near hind pastern, and off hind pastern, and she stands at 15.1 hands.
Dreamy was foaled at Pine Hollow Breeding Farm in New York. She raced briefly in 1993 and 1994 on the pace. She had eight starts and only two second place finishes. She earned $1029 and her mark was Q 2:05.1 H. She had four registered foals and all made it to the races. She foaled Wil Dream Sandy in 1997, Will Star Gaze in 1998, Ap to Be Jack in 1999, and Amy Joe M in 2000. Elizabeth free leased Dreamy in May 2003 and thanks to the generosity of her owner Jack McGee, Elizabeth has officially owned Dreamy since Christmas 2006. Dreamy has proven she is a terrific riding horse, winning many ribbons in competition during 2007, which also happened to be Dreamy's first year of showing. Dreamy and Elizabeth competed in dressage and three-phase eventing, at the Introductory level. They also competed in two Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of Maine (SPHO-ME) open shows. In 2008, Elizabeth and Dreamy once again competed in dressage and three-phase eventing, moving up to Training level and Modified Beginner Novice respectively. They competed in two SPHO-ME schooling shows and marshaled at the racetrack three times. In the fall of 2008, Elizabeth and Dreamy made the journey to the Horse Park of New Jersey for the National Championship Standardbred Horse Show, bringing home a first, two seconds, and two fourths in very large competitive classes. The 2009 show season brought about a move up! Elizabeth and Dreamy set their sights on USDF recognized dressage shows. Elizabeth chose Training 2 and Training 4 as the two dressage tests for the year. Both horse and rider were challenged yet did an excellent job. Also, the pair competed in two horse trials at Mod. Beginner Novice and one 2-phase. In August 2009, Elizabeth and Dreamy made the trek to the Horse Park of New Jersey once again for the National Standardbred Show, bringing home numerous ribbons, having placed in all ten of their classes. 2009 Accomplishments: TBA! 2008 Accomplishments: 2007 Accomplishments: Accomplishments of 2007 that have no year-end awards: :)
