Finally, Standardbreds have their very own breed logo. No longer will your Standardbred be mistaken for a warmblood, Throughbred, Tennesee Walking Horse, Paint......or any other breed!!!
Patches look great on a saddle pad, jacket, hat...just about anywhere you want to sew it!
Below is the press release issued by the USTA in April 2008.
Columbus, OH --- The USTA is now offering a logo exclusive to the Standardbred breed, which may be used for all pleasure- and show-horse enthusiasts.
The idea for the logo came from Elizabeth Tewksbury of the Maine Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization, who sought a breed-specific logo to help identify Standardbreds at competitions. The final design, which was voted on by nearly 600 people at www.ustrotting.com, was designed by USTA Internet graphic designer Autumn Schmidt. 
T-shirts with the new logo are now available for pre-order for $10. Oval bumper stickers featuring the new logo will be available later for $1.
The Standardbred brand will also be available for SEP members to take and have embroidered onto saddle pads, saddle covers, stable blankets and apparel.

As you can see, the USTA is only offering a t-shirt and sticker with the STB logo. They will NOT be making sew-on patches for saddle pads, blankets, jackets as Elizabeth had hoped.
Instead, YOU can order your very own STB patch directly from Elizabeth! All proceeds from the sales will go directly into the National Show fund.
Each patch is a 4.75" oval on white twill with black embroidery.
Cost is $6 per patch. You can purchase one from Elizabeth at shows or anywhere you may see her! ALL Checks will be held until cleared. So unless you are having your patches shipped, it is cash and carry. You can also pay with Paypal (see below). All prices are in US dollars.

Domestic (USA) Shipping
- up to 10 patches = $1.00
- 10-20 patches = $2.00
- 20+ patches = $3.00
Canadian Shipping
- up to 10 patches = $2.00
- 10-20 patches = $4.00
